Ashley Keast, a burglar from Rotherham, couldn’t resist taking a selfie during a break-in using the victim’s stolen SIM card. Unbeknownst to him, the photo was sent to the victim’s work colleagues via WhatsApp. This blunder led police straight to Keast’s home, where they found a stolen Rolex worth £4,000. Keast was jailed for two years and eight months after admitting to the burglary.
