Golf courses aren’t typically known for their humor. Often, you might imagine a rather formal country club setting. However, one golf course sign breaks that mold. It reads: “Coronavirus Be Aware” at the top, followed by “Do not touch other players’ balls. Wash your hands after touching your own balls!” The double entendre is clear.
It’s surprising that this sign made it past management, but it’s a welcome twist. Injecting a bit of humor can be effective in drawing attention to important health precautions.
