Perhaps Literacy Night Should Be More Frequent
One can only hope that this sign was intentionally crafted as it appears. Otherwise, some parents might consider transferring their children to a different school. The school sign displays: “Leteracy night.” Clearly, it should read “Literacy night.” If this was a deliberate joke, it’s quite clever. Either way, this mistake might just lead to an increased turnout, as it’s sure to grab attention.
Maybe that was the intention? It’s hard to say for certain, but if so, it’s refreshing to see educators using creative strategies to engage parents more effectively.
