Maintaining a Positive Outlook Despite Challenges
Throughout their lives, the Herrin twins have encountered numerous challenges, yet they continue to approach life with an undiminished positive attitude. “Having one leg means we only have to paint one set of toenails, so that’s really nice,” they humorously noted during an interview. Their self-confidence and positive outlook not only inspire others but also amaze their own mother. “The self-esteem that they have blows me away. Lots of people could learn a lot of things from them,” she expressed.
