Maliyah Faces a Second Kidney Transplant
Maliyah’s family was deeply concerned about her prospects as she faced yet another kidney transplant. Initially left without a kidney, she received one from her courageous mother, which lasted for ten years before failing. With no other options, Maliyah underwent a second transplant, hoping for a smoother recovery without complications. However, achieving this proved to be more challenging than anticipated.
Following the second transplant, complications arose when her new kidney began to malfunction. Maliyah experienced severe dehydration on two separate occasions and encountered a dangerous situation due to an incorrect medication dosage. Despite these daunting challenges, she persevered and survived.
