Dolly Parton and Carl Thomas Dean
Even though the beloved ‘Queen of Country’ Dolly Parton has been married to Carl Dean for over 50 years, the couple has never been one to publicize their relationship. They met in Nashville in 1964, the day that Dolly arrived at the city and went into a laundromat to wash some dirty clothes. They immediately clicked and started dating, getting married two years later.
Dolly has often said that one of the reasons their relationship has lasted is because they’ve kept it private and away from all the media. She says Dean has nothing to do with show business and is a simple, loving man who balances her crazy life of fame. Well, something must be working out if they’ve stayed together for over five decades.
