Ilana Glazer and David Rooklin
Ilana Glazer has been on the comedy scene for years, doing stand-up, producing, writing, and directing her own projects. In 2014, she rose to fame when Comedy Central bought her web series “Broad City,” which she created with Abbi Jacobson. Glazer has never been too keen to reveal details on her personal life; in fact, few people knew that by 2023, she’d been married to scientist David Rooklin for over a decade!
The comedian and the scientist met in 2011 in Washington Square Park in New York City, and she describes it as love at first sight. They got married in a private ceremony in 2012 and honeymooned in Iceland. Eleven years later, they’re still very happily married.
