A Legacy of Teen Motherhood
Whoopi Goldberg’s journey into motherhood began at the age of 18 with the birth of her daughter, Alexandrea Martin, with her then-husband, Alvin Martin, in 1973. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Alexandrea also experienced early motherhood, welcoming her first child at 14.
