Young Princesses Can’t Wear Tiaras Until They’re Married
You might think of princesses wearing tiaras, but that’s not exactly how it works for the British Royal Family. Only married members are allowed to wear a tiara. This means that despite Charlotte being the Princess of Cambridge, she is not allowed to wear this elegant accessory! While Lilibet didn’t hold the title of Princess previously, with the death of the Queen and Prince Charles ascending the throne as King, her status has changed. She is now technically a princess too, which means this peculiar rule applies to her as well.
It appears that Charlotte and Lilibet are not even allowed to wear a tiara for fun; they will have to wait many years before they can don one!
