Absolutely Wild Cases of Feral Children Throughout History

Ramachandra

Ramachandra is also known as the Human Amphibian. It is estimated that he was born in India around 1960. He was first seen in the wild in 1973 but he wasn’t captured until 1979 when he was close to 20 years old. Ramachandra was living like an amphibian. He ate raw food and liked to hang out around rivers, even after he was captured and reintroduced into society.

He did not fit in well with others and did not learn how to adapt to “normal” human behaviors. In fact, he approached a woman, more than likely with the intent to woo her, in 1982. She felt threatened and because he did not understand social taboos, he continued to approach her. She defended herself by throwing boiling water on him and it ended up killing Ramachandra.
