Absolutely Wild Cases of Feral Children Throughout History

Marcos Rodríguez Pantoja

Marco Rodríguez Pantoja had a rough childhood in many ways. First, his mother died in childbirth when he was only three years old. His father remarried and his new stepmother began to abuse him. By the time he was seven years old, he was sold to a goat herder to work as a slave. Soon into his slavery, the goatherder died and left Marcos alone on a large piece of land. Marcos continued to live there with a pack of wolves until he was eleven years old. He was able to communicate with the wolves through howls, grunts, and other wolf-like communication.

The Civil Guard rescued him in 1965, and he was sent to a hospital to learn how to be a part of society. There, nuns taught him how to walk on two legs instead of four, eat with utensils not his hands, and how to dress himself. Eventually, he was reintroduced to society where he lived and worked at a hostel, did military service, and became a pastor.
