You’re Being Watched All of the Time
Similar to casinos, the security and surveillance on cruise ships are tight. Like, really tight. You can pretty much expect to be watched anywhere you while on a cruise ship, except your own room. This is done for a couple of reasons, including passenger safety in case of a crime or someone falling overboard.
However, it’s also done so that people can review footage after an emergency to determine what went wrong.Think of all of that security, kind of like a ship’s version of a black box you might find on an airplane. It’s there to make sure nothing bad happens and fix any issues in the event something does happen.
