Dried noodles don’t need to be refrigerated until they’re cooked
Unless you buy fresh noodles or make your own, you’ll likely know the dried kind from the store are crunchy and hard before they’re cooked. That’s because they have been dried, which means that they can last for years. In fact, it’s been noted that they can last for more than two years past their expiry date.
We probably don’t need to tell you that this only applies to noodles that have been unopened, because opened noodles are a whole different ball game. If you have already cooked your noodles, we’d advise that you place them in your refrigerator until you’re ready to eat them again. Don’t leave it too long, though…
