Popcorn won’t pop as well when it’s kept somewhere too cold
Although we don’t think we’ve ever met anyone who has put their popcorn in the refrigerator, it seems as though there are a few people who have done just that. Why anyone would want cold popcorn is beyond us, but placing your popcorn kernels in the fridge will actually serve no purpose when it comes to this delicious snack.
That’s because the cold temperatures actually affect how well they pop, and you may find yourself with tiny popcorn or kernels that just refuse to pop altogether. Instead, keep your kernels in an airtight container somewhere where they can take advantage of the room temperature. Don’t let your fridge be the thing to spoil your popcorn game, guys.
