Sugar won’t get any benefits from being store in the fridge
One thing you might have noticed is how sugar is one of the best preservatives, even if we know we shouldn’t have too much of it in our diets to keep things nice and balanced. Of course, that might mean it’s a little obvious that sugar can easily preserve itself and doesn’t need to be kept in the refrigerator.
Of course, storing sugar in the fridge will make your sugar cold and damp, but that’s about it. To preserve your sugar as much as possible, make sure that you keep it in room temperature surroundings. The drier, the better. If you’re worried about the sugar attracting pests, then keep it in an airtight container.
