Certain fruits will lose any goodness and taste when refrigerated
Just as fruits are all different, they should also be stored differently. They all thrive in various different environments, so it’s important to take note of this before you shove them all into the refrigerator. Certain fruits, such as kiwis, mangoes, plums, apricots, and peaches, should all be kept away from the fridge if you want to keep them fresh.
That’s because the cold temperatures can damage and destroy the cell membranes and, therefore, the nutrient value within these fruits, which will likely leave them rotting before you know it. To keep these fruits for as long as possible, make sure you keep them in natural sunlight and somewhere at room temperature, such as in a fruit bowl.
