Olives can be one of the more confusing foods when it comes to storage
It’s fair to say that olives divide the world. There are many people who love them, while there are others who hate the mere sight of them. It seems as though this division is apparent in terms of their storage options. That’s because you don’t always have to refrigerate your olives – but sometimes you do.
It’s not as confusing as it sounds, we promise. Canned olives don’t need to make their way into the refrigerator because they have already been preserved. However, you should always refrigerate your olives if you have opened the can and eaten some of them. An airtight container would be preferable, as well as the juices from the can.
