Nothing bad will happen, but pickles don’t need to be refrigerated
If you’re a fan of pickles, there’s a high chance you have a few jars at home, but where do you keep them? Most people would assume you should keep your pickles in the refrigerator, but that just isn’t the case. As these pickles are, yup, pickled you don’t have to add any extra preservation processes into the mix.
The pickling is more than enough to keep them fresh and tasty for as long as possible, so unless you just like your pickles to be super cold, then there’s no need to add them to your fridge shelf. It won’t necessarily do any harm, but you could be wasting precious refrigerator space by storing your pickles in the refrigerator.
